The Sartorialist

For those who don't know, an amazing site is the Sartorialist. Scott Schuman goes around to major fashion cities (Milan, Paris and New York, mostly) and photographs the most stylish people on the streets. Although the aesthetic is very consistent (clean shapes, dark/neutral colors, a very French look) and can get repetitive, it's still very beautiful and he shoots them in nice urban settings. It's really addictive. I usually look through it until I am overcome with envy and must look away. Here are some favorites...

A pixie redhead in New York. A cool woman in Milan. And a friend(ish)! At least, I've hung out with her at parties. She is Piera from Refinery 29, in New York. She looks like a 20's silent film star with that Prada-esque turban and those gorgeous red lips.I also love the older Italian men. Here's an art director in Milan...
And a man in Florence.
And also a sweet guy in Paris. He looks fresh and fabulous and excited for greatness ahead.
The Sartorialist has also just launched a cute kids' column for Cookie, the new Conde magazine for moms. Schuman began by photographing his daughters.
Enjoy!
